What This Covers
----------------

The licence applies to all Slide-a-Key printables and accompanying text:

  * Slide-a-Key Musical Transposer, Classic Edition (PDF and Markdown)
  * Slide-a-Key Musical Transposer, Tent Edition (PDF)
  * Slide-a-Key Musical Transposer, Pocket Edition (PDF)
  * The README and teacher's guide (Markdown and PDF) and this licence file
  * The slideakey.com website page (index.html) and its README

The small build_pdf.py script, which turns the Markdown files into PDFs, is
not covered by the Creative Commons licence. It's free to use, copy and change
for any purpose, with no warranty.

In Plain Terms
--------------

You are free to:

  * Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  * Adapt: remix, transform and build upon the material.

Under these terms:

  * Attribution: give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and
    indicate if changes were made.
  * NonCommercial: you may not use the material for commercial purposes.
  * No additional restrictions: you may not apply legal terms or
    technological measures that restrict others from doing anything the
    licence permits.

So you can print Slide-a-Keys for yourself, your students, your band or your
jam night, and pass them around freely. Please don't sell them.

How to Credit Slide-a-Key

If you share or adapt Slide-a-Key, a credit like this is enough:

If you changed it, add a note such as "adapted from" and say briefly what you

Trademarks and Fonts
--------------------

The licence covers the printables' content and artwork. It does not grant any
rights to the name "Slide-a-Key" as a brand.

The fonts used are separately licensed by their creators and are not covered
by this licence:

  * Rye, Patrick Hand and Noto Music: SIL Open Font License
  * Permanent Marker: Apache License 2.0
  * DejaVu Sans and DejaVu Sans Mono: DejaVu Fonts License
  * FreeSerif: GNU GPL with the font exception

No Warranty
-----------

Slide-a-Key is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Please
double-check important transpositions before a gig.
